WHO WE ARE

Owner and goldsmith Meredith J. Bigatel began her journey as a metalsmith at Edinboro University.  She began her fine arts degree as a painting major, but soon fell in love with metalsmithing as an art form.  The meticulous and unforgiving nature of the materials agreed with her, and she soon switched her concentration to Metalsmithing.

Since graduating from Edinboro in 2013, Meredith began her own jewelry business, and ventured on to working with gold and precious gemstones.  Now, she concentrates on creating custom engagement and wedding rings, from the initial design, to the finished product. 

 

Meredith also has a masters' degree in Art History from Birkbeck University of London.  Her dissertation concentrated on the jewelry work of Surrealist artist Salvador Dali, and included creating a replica of his piece, The Persistence of Sound.
